Fictional Narrative
When I visited Antarctica, I saw ice sheets and valley glaciers. In my year long stint in Antarctica, I noticed that I was extremely close to a valley glacier that fell below the equilibrium line, which indicates that it had a negative budget. The top of the glacial valley had a cirque at the head. Along the cirque and rock steps, rock basin lakes were often found. From the grinding action of the glacier, glacial till is found, which also forms moraines, and from the meltwater, glacial outwash is deposited. In the lake in front of the glacial, varves are found from settles silt and clay.
