 Hi! I'm Lauren Hollander and I'm an Apparel Entrepreneurship Major. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I have not experienced too many examples of everyday geology. Houston is very flat and green, so I never see many rocks at all. I've taken a natural disasters class and I enjoyed learning about the earth and all the processes that go into the beauty we see all around. 

One of my favorite places to go is Bear Lake, Idaho. I've never experienced an earthquake and the most we have in Texas are hills. I've seen many examples of moving rocks or different rocks formations in Bear Lake, but my favorite example is the cave.

I often go to San Antonio as well, but even then the most rocks there are, are small smooth river rocks.
